Power outage affects large swath of Lake Country

A power outage Thursday morning left thousands of residents without electricity as they got ready for their day.
The outage started at 7:15 a.m., affecting nearly 2,200 people from Beaver Lake Road to Oceola Road, and those east of Okanagan Centre Road.
A BC Hydro crew arrived on scene around 8:30 a.m.
Power was back on to all residents, schools, and businesses by 9:30 a.m.
