Lower Mainland’s Britannia Brewing coming to Lake Country
Published on January 31, 2023 by David Wylie
Another local brewery will soon be on tap in Lake Country.
Lower Mainland-based Britannia Brewing Company says on its website that it’s expanding to Lake Country.
Britannia has facilities in Richmond and Delta.
“While great things are brewing in Steveston and Ladner our need to increase capacity is well underway,” says the brewing company on its website.
Britannia is not yet disclosing the location, but the Jim Bailey Industrial Area has been a draw for brewers.
The coastal-themed brewery has offerings such as Riptide Rye IPA, Adrift Hop Blond Ale, and Boardwalk ISA.
Britannia will be the fourth brewery in Lake Country, with gluten-free Grey Fox Brewing that recently opened, Big Bear Brewery, and coming-soon Lake Country Brewing.
